Addresses These Concerns
How it Works
Inspired by Ayurvedic origins, this self-warming sheet mask is a first of its kind. It takes all the elements of a complex spa treatment which involves skincare, facial massage and hot stones, then merges it into one effective, convenient facial experience at home.
- BRIGHTENS WITH POTASSIUM AZELOYL DIGLYCINATE (PAD)
Studies show that PAD helps to brighten skin tone, relieve redness and fades hyperpigmentation. PAD is derivative of clinically proven, superstar ingredient Azelaic Acid and hydrating amino acid Glycine. It is very water soluble, acts as a skin brightening agent via Tyrosinase (a famous enzyme needed to make melanin) inhibition and also has significant sebum normalizing activity. - REFINES WITH NIACINAMIDE
Refines the look of skin texture, minimizes pores and diminishes dullness - RELIEFS REDNESS WITH COPPER PEPTIDES
Promotes collagen production in skin and supports recovery from blemishes and other imperfections
The Difference Between Functional and Basic Sheet Masks
In a market where there are thousands of sheet mask choices, it’s normal to wonder what the difference is between them and why they’ve been a staple of Asian beauty routines since ancient times. The first thing to know is that Basic Sheet Masking and Functional Sheet Masking are two different approaches to Sheet Masks.
Basic Sheet Masks – Mainly used for daily hydration, with simpler ingredients, a hydrating serum and are usually less costly. Basic sheet masks are cheap, easy to access and use, and offer an incredible span of variety for endless hours of discovery and sampling but don’t expect them to be more than trends or hydration based.
Functional Sheet Masks – Mainly used as a home “facial”, with complex, high performance serum formulas that address key concerns in skin. These are often found in spas and skincare clinics, at a premium price. Snow Fox Sheet Masks are considered to be in this category. Functional Sheet Masks are more expensive, harder to find due to less mass production and require more in depth knowledge to be able to apply it effectively in a customized skin care routine but you can expect more intensive visible results.
FAQ
What skin types can benefit the most with this mask?
This mask is suitable for all skin types, and especially suitable for those with oily skin, enlarged pores, pigmentation, scarring, redness and active blemishes.
If I have dry skin, can I use this?
Yes, if you have dry skin but are concerned about pigmentation, pores and redness, this mask is still suitable. However, if your skin starts to show signs of irritation (unusual burning, redness, soreness), take the mask off immediately and rinse thoroughly with cold water. If you are looking more for intense hydration, try out our Herbal Youth Mask instead.
How often should I use this mask?
While our masks are suitable for every day use, we recommend starting off 2 to 3 times a week. The Arctic Breeze is fantastic for travel as it works wonders on tired and jet lagged skins.
Is this product safe for pregnant or breastfeeding women?
No, as this is a highly active serum, we do not suggest it for use during pregnancy or breast feeding in case of skin sensitivity.
Are the sheet masks eco-friendly?
Yes, we use only 100% organic certified, biodegradable cotton sheets, which can be composted. The serums are naturally derived from non-animal origin ingredients, don’t contain synthetic preservatives or bleach so it’s fine to compost alongside the mask (these chemicals won’t pollute water ways). Vegan-friendly.
Any Sheet Masking Tips and Tricks?
Using the Gua Sha with this mask will amplify and speed up brightening results. If you still want to add a little more warmth without the Gua Sha, use your fingers to massage around the face and it will warm up as well!
